Run a source-backed search

1. Open Search mode

   Select Search from the product mode controls or open the Search page directly.

2. Ask a focused question

   Include the subject, location, time range, and comparison criteria that matter.

3. Review the answer and citations

   Use citation markers to inspect the sources supporting important claims.

4. Refine the evidence

   Ask for newer sources, primary sources, counter-evidence, or a narrower date range when needed.

Verify important claims

• Open the cited page and confirm it actually supports the nearby statement.
• Check the publication date and whether the information is still current.
• Prefer original research, official documentation, and first-party announcements where possible.
• Compare multiple independent sources when a claim is disputed or consequential.

A citation improves traceability, but it does not automatically guarantee that a claim is complete or correct.

Ask follow-up questions

Keep using the same search conversation to compare sources, challenge an assumption, or request a different format. Ask the AI to separate established facts, conflicting evidence, and open questions for complex topics.
