Reusable context reduces repeated setup and makes results more consistent. Choose the feature based on what you want to preserve: a task template, AI behavior, or writing style.

Choose what to reuse

  • Use a saved prompt for a repeatable request with fields that change each time.
  • Use a Skill for durable instructions about how AI should approach a type of work.
  • Use Brand Voice for tone, vocabulary, style, and communication guidelines.

Create reusable guidance

  1. Start with a proven example

    Use an instruction or output that has already worked well in a real task.

  2. Separate fixed and variable context

    Keep durable rules in the saved asset and make changing inputs easy to identify.

  3. Add boundaries

    State what the AI must preserve, avoid, verify, or ask before assuming.

  4. Test on different inputs

    Confirm the guidance works beyond the original example before relying on it broadly.
