How it differs from Samsung's existing Auto Framing / Auto Track: This is the key distinction.

• Auto Track (existing): Works only during live recording. The camera tracks a pre-selected subject in real time and attempts to keep it framed while you shoot .
• My FanCam (new): Works on already-completed video. You pick a subject after the fact, and the AI reframes the finished footage to keep that subject centered as a post-processing step .

This means you no longer need to lock onto a subject before recording. You can shoot a wide, general video and later decide which person or object to dynamically reframe — giving much more creative flexibility in post-production .

Expected Device Availability

• The leak was spotted on a Galaxy S25+ running an internal One UI 9 build .
• Since this build predates the public One UI 9 beta (which is already rolling out on the Galaxy S26 series), multiple sources report that the Galaxy S25 series is expected to receive My FanCam via the stable One UI 9 update .
• It is not present in the current Galaxy S26 One UI 9 Beta 4, making the S25+ leak the first sighting of the feature .
• Some reports also speculate My FanCam could debut on the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, expected to launch with One UI 9 out of the box .

Horizontal Lock (Video Stabilization)

• Originally exclusive to the Galaxy S26 series (launched with One UI 8.5), Horizontal Lock uses the phone's gyroscope and accelerometer to keep video locked perfectly flat to the horizon — even if you tilt, rotate, or spin the phone a full 360 degrees, mimicking a gimbal .
• The leaked One UI 9 build for the Galaxy S25+ includes this feature, indicating Samsung is backporting it to the S25 series within the Super Steady mode .
• It was notably absent from the S25's One UI 8.5 update, so this would be the first time S25 users get it .

Warranty and Care Section

• A new "Warranty & Care" section was spotted in system settings. It is described as a one-stop hub for device health, diagnostics, and warranty information . Samsung's own descriptions suggest it will serve as a central support hub, providing warranty and repair details for all your devices, along with diagnostic tools and remote assistance options .

Secure Locking

• A "Secure Locking" option was also found in the leaked build, adding an extra layer of device security . It appears to allow users to instantly disable biometric unlock (fingerprint and face) with a single tap, requiring the PIN, pattern, or password for the next unlock . A hardware key shortcut (long-pressing the side button and volume down) is also reported .

Caveats

All of this comes from a single early internal test build shared on X (formerly Twitter) and reported by Android Authority and other outlets . Features could change, be renamed, or be dropped before the public release. Samsung has not officially confirmed any of these additions .
