WoW: Forever Collector’s Edition Restock: What Buyers Need to Know

Blizzard is making more English-language World of Warcraft: Forever Collector’s Editions available in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Availability can begin at different times depending on the retailer, so the announcement does not guarantee that every store has stock simultaneously.2

Where to pre-purchase—and the household limit

The physical edition is offered through the Blizzard Gear Store and participating retailers. Blizzard Gear Store purchases are limited to one copy per household; check the applicable retailer’s listing for its current stock and purchase rules.231 Blizzard’s restock update is dated September 24, 2026. Although the restock has been described as a Wednesday event, the announcement’s wording is “starting as early as today,” with timing varying by retailer.2

What comes in the box?

The physical collectibles are a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins and a companion journal.614 The included Warcraft Forever Collection digital code provides the Skyborne Epic Pack, Warcraft III: Reforged and its Forsaken Kingdom DLC campaign. The code must be redeemed to access those digital contents; it is not a game disc.13

Edition information also describes 30 days of Game Time and beta access. The Forever beta is scheduled to run through October 21, 2026.517 Invite-A-Friend codes for eligible purchases are reported to begin arriving by email on October 20; they cover the November 4–11 launch-week window. Blizzard Support says the Warcraft Forever Collection grants three such codes.3135 Buyers should verify the benefits shown on their regional restock listing before ordering.

Why shipping matters for digital access

The expected February 2027 delivery window for this restock falls after WoW: Forever launches globally on November 4, 2026.2 Earlier guidance for physical-edition orders said that, apart from separately emailed beta and friend-invite codes, digital rewards required the box to arrive and its enclosed code to be redeemed. That guidance discussed an earlier November 2026 shipment, so buyers should not assume its delivery timetable applies to this restock.33

Players who want the digital collection sooner can buy it separately on Battle.net and later redeem the physical code on the same Battle.net account. Forum guidance describes a possible Battle.net Balance credit for an eligible digital purchase, but another earlier post refers to a December 31, 2026 redemption condition—before this restock’s expected arrival. Do not count on a credit without confirming the current terms for the new shipment.934

Do you need the Collector’s Edition to play?

No. Blizzard says the base WoW: Forever experience is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time.2 The optional $29.99 Skyborne Heroic Pack unlocks the new Skyborne race and its Zephras Isle starting experience; the Epic Pack and limited-time digital Warcraft Forever Collection are higher-tier Battle.net alternatives.14

For players choosing that upgrade, the Skyborne—also called Shen’dorei—begin on Zephras Isle at levels 1–12. Their lore traces them to elven exiles associated with Skywall’s wind spirits. At character creation, players choose Horde-aligned Windshapers, who can be Shamans, or Alliance-aligned High Order Skyborne, who can be Mages. Both paths can also be Warriors, Hunters, Rogues or Druids.414552

The buying decision is therefore mostly about timing and collectibles: use a subscription or Game Time for the base game, choose a qualifying digital upgrade for Skyborne access, and choose the physical box if its keepsakes justify waiting for delivery.126
