Sigvi Raises €1.2M Pre-Seed to Challenge Traditional Car Rental with AI-Powered Automation

Sigvi is designed for independent fleet operators and private owners who want to run a car rental business without the overhead of a traditional rental counter or staff. The AI handles dynamic pricing, availability, and operational logistics, making the entire process from booking to keyless vehicle access fully automated and end-to-end .

Gytenis Galkis, Partner at lead investor Superhero Capital, described Sigvi's approach as "an elegant solution to a market inefficiency" and noted: "We see a clear path for Sigvi to become the digital infrastructure layer for independent car rental across Europe" .

How Sigvi Achieves Pricing 30% Below Traditional Brands

Sigvi says its rentals are priced roughly 30% below major international car rental brands . The company achieves this by:

• Aggregating underutilized vehicles from independent fleets and private owners .
• Using automation to keep operating costs low .
• Sourcing well-maintained cars that average about 12 years old, giving older vehicles a second commercial life while lowering the capital needed to add supply .

Founder Darius Verseckas has separately stated that business accounts launched in January 2026 offered prices roughly 20% lower than global brands for comparable cars, with some customer-facing communications referencing savings of up to 40% .

Launch in Poland and Current Fleet

Sigvi launched operations in Poland in June 2026 . The company currently manages over 200 vehicles across its network and has hired a local country manager for the Polish market . Sigvi began in Lithuania and serves Vilnius and other cities there as well .

Plans for the €1.2 Million

Sigvi will use the capital to accelerate product development — further building out its AI platform — and to fund international expansion and growth of its managed vehicle network. The company has stated a goal of reaching 2,000 vehicles within two years .
