Ghost Recon 25th Anniversary: Everything Ubisoft Announced

• New narrative mission: A standalone story set in a darker Bolivia, following a masked antagonist named La Llorona, a cult leader seeking revenge against the country's cartels, the CIA, and Unidad . The mission is accessible directly from the main menu and does not require completing the main campaign .
• Return of the Predator mission: The fan-favorite crossover event, "The Jungle Moved," is re-activated in the Caimanes Province . Note that the Predator mission is not playable while in the Last Rites mission .
• Ghost Parameters: A new gameplay customization system that allows players to adjust difficulty, HUD elements, loadout rules, and mechanics such as enabling instant death, limiting primary weapons, or controlling ammo behavior .
• Free cosmetic items: Anniversary-themed cosmetic unlocks are available .

Technical Upgrades

The update brings long-requested visual and performance enhancements:

• 4K resolution and 60 FPS support added for current-gen consoles (PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X/S) and PC . The patch also includes improved lighting, shadows, and distance rendering, plus DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support on PS5 .
• Graphical improvements: Sharper lighting, better shadows, and improved distance rendering are included .

In addition, a Ghost Recon Breakpoint 25th Anniversary Bundle with free cosmetic items is planned for September .

Franchise Future: New Game Confirmed & Insider Program

• A new Ghost Recon game is in development: Ubisoft officially confirmed that the next chapter of the series has been in development for several years and is now ready for testing . No title, release date, or platforms have been announced .
• Ghost Recon Insider Program launched: Fans can register on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or PC via Ubisoft Connect to gain early access to closed tests and provide feedback to help balance, optimize, and fine-tune the experience . Registration requires an Ubisoft account and completion of a short survey .
