Version 1.8 — June 25: Three Features in One Update

The June 25 update bundles three distinct features in a single release: a paid Bounty Pack DLC, a free endgame raid available to all players, and a major quality-of-life feature in cross-platform saves.

Bounty Pack 3: A Zane to Kill For (Paid DLC)

This is a neon-noir, arcade-themed mystery mission. Vault Hunters must investigate the murder of Zane's Digi-Clone backup, solving the case inside a glitching arcade game.

What you get with Bounty Pack 3:

• A new Pearlescent weapon
• 6 new pieces of Legendary loot
• 24 cosmetic items and 4 pieces of rerollable Legendary gear through Vault Card 3

Starting with Bounty Pack 3, Gearbox is splitting the DLC into two purchasable parts for the first time. Players can buy the narrative content, the cosmetics, or both as a bundle on Steam and Epic Games Store. The Bounty Pack releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Takedown at Hadron Abyss (Free for All Players)

This is a free endgame raid set in the Hadron Abyss, available to any player who has completed the main campaign. The final boss encounter is the Child of Terramorphous, a new Invincible-style enemy.

Gearbox has described this Takedown as the toughest endgame content yet, with powerful new loot and challenge-based cosmetics tied to its completion.

Cross-Platform Saves via SHiFT

The Version 1.8 update adds cross-platform saves, allowing players to carry their progress across supported platforms through their SHiFT account.
