UGREEN HomeAgent: Local AI Smart-Home Hubs, Prices, Specs and Launch Dates

UGREEN’s HomeAgent is an ambitious attempt to put several usually separate products—a network-attached storage device (NAS), a camera recorder, an on-device AI system, a Matter controller and a voice-controlled automation hub—into one local-first appliance. Announced around IFA 2026, the platform is designed to keep camera footage and much of its analysis in the home rather than making cloud storage the center of the experience. 2425

What HomeAgent is designed to do

HomeAgent runs on UGREEN’s Linux-based UGOS Pro software and pairs local compute with drive bays and NVMe expansion. In practical terms, it is intended to store ordinary files and photos alongside security recordings, then use on-device AI to identify people, pets, vehicles and packages, summarize events, and make recorded footage easier to search. 183446

The smart-home layer is built around Matter and UGREEN’s Uliya assistant. UGREEN says Uliya can control connected devices, report activity around the home and create voice notifications for specified events. The company also announced a companion Uliya speaker. 2425

The HA100 has 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, while the HA100 Pro rises to 32GB and the MA100 to 128GB. Reports also describe dedicated NVR storage alongside general NAS storage, plus Power over Ethernet camera connections; the MA100 is the only model reported with gigabit PoE ports, whereas the two HomeAgent models use lower-speed PoE camera ports. 192327

The quoted figures are UGREEN’s advertised AI-performance measures, not a direct measure of how much better one model will be for every home. The MA100’s TFLOPS specification also is not directly comparable with the TOPS figures used for the HA100 models.
