Outpatient providers in the UK and Europe often rely on a patchwork of separate software tools for electronic health records (EHR), telehealth, scheduling, payments, and analytics. This fragmentation creates operational complexity for clinicians and a disjointed experience for patients .
Semble addresses this by offering an integrated system designed to act as an AI-powered care orchestration layer. The platform connects every stage of the outpatient journey, from booking to billing, and integrates with over 1,200 external tools—including labs, pharmacies, AI scribes, CRMs, and billing systems—to automate administrative work and improve data exchange .
Christoph Lippuner, CEO and co-founder of Semble, framed the funding as a response to a systemic industry failure.
“For years, the industry has tried to address complex systemic issues through disconnected point solutions, but fragmented technology often adds operational complexity for healthcare providers and creates an interrupted experience for patients,” he said. “What healthcare organisations need is intelligent orchestration across the entire care journey. The practices and groups that win over the next decade will be the ones that deliver the best patient experience end-to-end. This investment allows us to rapidly scale that vision across the UK and Europe.”
The company’s client list already includes major private providers such as Nuffield Health, Welbeck, Midland Health, London Doctors Clinic, Modality, and ProblemShared .
Semble’s trajectory reflects a broader shift in healthtech away from building new point solutions and toward consolidating and orchestrating existing ones. The company’s latest funding round signals investor confidence that an integrated, AI-powered operating system for private outpatient care can win in a market long frustrated by fragmentation.
