The distinction matters: “worldwide release” describes the game’s launch across platforms, not Luna’s geographic availability. Luna access depends on supported regions, and the available reporting does not provide a reliable country-by-country list. 14
What Prime members can play on Luna
Reports say the Luna offering includes the single-player Campaign, Arcade events, and Scenario races. Arcade is described as shorter, objective-driven challenges; Scenarios use different rules and characters, with some reports also noting varied vehicle setups. 17

Online multiplayer is a separate caveat. The available launch coverage says cross-platform multiplayer was planned for a later update, so the Prime-included Luna experience should not be mistaken for the full multiplayer offering. 5

Why the Luna launch drew attention
A game arriving on Luna alongside its console and PC launch gives eligible Prime members a way to try it through cloud streaming, without buying a separate copy or using a dedicated gaming console or gaming PC. That lowers some cost and hardware barriers, although players still need Prime and access to Luna in a supported region. 4

Some coverage framed the release as a notable first for Luna. The evidence supports a narrower description: this was a day-and-date launch of a major third-party Star Wars game, with single-player modes included for Prime members. Luna has also had day-one releases of Amazon’s own games, so the sources do not establish that Galactic Racer was the service’s first-ever launch-day title. 11
