What Crimson Desert Enhanced adds
The headline change is a revised presentation of the main quest. Pearl Abyss has added new cutscenes, dialogue and story moments that expand protagonist Kliff’s journey across Pywel and provide more context for the game’s characters and world. 1
17
Version 2.0 also introduces new skills and improvements to the skill system. It is therefore more than a language pack or a small narrative patch, although the update’s most visible focus is the campaign. 19
Enhanced includes the post-launch content released before Version 2.0. Pearl Abyss’s update summary counts 17 patches, more than 20 new features and content additions, 120 mounts and pets, and 70 new outfits, equipment pieces and items. 20
New voice-over and language support
The update adds full voice-over in:
- German
- French
- Spanish
- Brazilian Portuguese
- Japanese
Arabic is also supported for the interface and subtitles. Players must update to Version 2.00.00 before the new language options appear. 18

This distinction matters: Arabic support is for menus and subtitles, while the five listed languages receive full voice-over. The language data and setup process can vary by platform. 18
Is Crimson Desert Enhanced a separate game?
No. Enhanced is a free update to the existing game, not a separately sold remaster or the first paid DLC. Owners only need to update Crimson Desert to the latest version to access the new content. New players purchase Crimson Desert and receive the Enhanced version. 3
