These are Apple’s starting prices, not prices for every memory and storage configuration. The computers began arriving September 22 and are reported to ship with macOS 27 Golden Gate installed. 413 The 512GB unified-memory option for the M5 Ultra Mac Studio is expected in late October rather than in the initial September release. What the M6 Mac mini adds

The M6 is Apple’s first chip made on a 2-nanometer process. It has a 12-core CPU, a 12-core GPU with Neural Accelerators in its GPU cores, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine. The M6 Mac mini’s $899 starting price is $100 above the M4 model’s price immediately before the update, despite retaining a 16GB/256GB entry configuration.
