Does the circular recess mean GTA VI includes a physical disc?

No. A claimed circular section inside the box sparked speculation that it could hold a game disc. But a circular recess could also be intended for a coin, medallion, patch, decorative insert, or another collectible. The box alone cannot identify its purpose. 2531

Rockstar has made substantial collector packages before

That precedent matters because an alleged GTA VI box could be a collectible product or promotional package without being a conventional game edition—and without containing a disc.

Why the timing is significant

Rockstar’s official pre-order announcement set GTA VI’s launch for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. 60 Sony has separately announced black and white GTA VI limited-edition DualSense controllers, priced at $84.99 and launching on the same date; pre-orders began September 10. 2
