PlayStation Plus September 2026 Announcements: Mycopunk, Classics and Monthly Games

Sony’s September 3 State of Play outlined the next wave of PlayStation Plus additions: a day-one co-op Game Catalog release in Mycopunk and three games for the Premium Classics Catalog. The most immediate draw for Extra and Premium subscribers is Mycopunk’s October arrival; the Classics releases are staggered across September and later in 2026. 2

Mycopunk joins the Game Catalog in October

Mycopunk is coming to the PS5 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on launch day in October for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. The shooter supports squads of one to four players as robots battle a fungal infestation. Its gameplay centers on collecting enemy parts and using them in a highly customizable weapon and ability system. 2

For subscribers looking for a new multiplayer game rather than a back-catalog title, Mycopunk is the headline announcement: it will be included with the applicable tiers rather than arriving as a separate purchase first.

Three Premium Classics are on the way

PlayStation also confirmed three additions to the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics Catalog:

• Mega Man X: Command Mission arrives in September. 2
• Dino Crisis 2 is planned for later in 2026. The PS4 and PS5 release will include 4K upscaling, rewind and quick-save features. Players who digitally own the PS3, PSP or PS Vita version will receive access to the PS4/PS5 release at no additional charge. 2
• The original Ratchet & Clank is also due later in 2026. 2

The lineup combines a turn-based Mega Man spin-off, Capcom’s dinosaur-survival sequel and the first Ratchet & Clank adventure—three distinct reasons for Premium members to watch the release schedule.

September Monthly Games and the MLB bonus

Separate from the State of Play announcements, PlayStation Plus members could claim September’s Monthly Games from September 1 through October 5:

• Sniper Elite: Resistance — PS5, PS4
• MLB The Show 26 — PS5
• Wobbly Life — PS5, PS4
• Chained Echoes — PS4 4

The limited-time MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle was also available to PlayStation Plus members through October 5. It includes five The Show Packs, an Equipment Pack and a Jumpstart Choice Pack. 4

What joined the catalog in August

The September news followed an active August for the Game Catalog. Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors and Hell is Us were among the additions for Extra and Premium members, while Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire joined the Premium selection. 21
