Samsung’s Gamescom 2026 Plan: 1,090 m² Booth, New Odyssey Monitors and a Full-Stack Gaming Ecosystem

Samsung is positioning Gamescom 2026 as a showcase for its broader gaming ecosystem rather than a monitor-only exhibit. At Koelnmesse in Cologne from August 26–30, the company plans to use a 1,090-square-meter booth and the #PlaySamsung theme to connect PC, console, cloud-TV and mobile gaming experiences. 5810

Four zones built around Samsung’s gaming ecosystem

The planned booth is divided into four experience areas: Odyssey, Galaxy, Gaming Hub and T1. Together, they cover Samsung’s gaming monitors, smartphones, TVs, cloud-gaming platform, storage products and esports-focused experiences. 1910

Odyssey Zone: 2027 monitors and HDR10+ GAMING

Samsung plans to unveil its 2027 Odyssey monitor lineup on August 27. The headline products will include an Odyssey G8 6K gaming monitor and a glasses-free Odyssey 3D display. 19

The zone is also scheduled to host HDR10+ GAMING demonstrations featuring Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Crimson Desert and Cyberpunk 2077. These demonstrations are intended to show how Samsung’s display technology is being presented alongside major game releases. 19

Galaxy Zone: mobile gaming and on-device processing

Visitors are expected to try the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra in the Galaxy Zone. Samsung describes the devices as using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Neural Frame Fusion, a system that generates pixels and frames in real time and is presented as improving gaming power efficiency. 1

Gaming Hub: cloud gaming without a console

Samsung will demonstrate console-free cloud gaming through Gaming Hub on a compatible Samsung OLED TV. The setup is designed to highlight TV-based access to gaming without requiring a traditional console in the demonstration environment. 110

T1 Zone: a Korean PC café-inspired setup

The T1 Zone will recreate a Korean PC café experience inspired by the gaming setup of Faker, the League of Legends player. The area adds an esports and gaming-culture element to a booth otherwise centered on Samsung hardware and platform features. 110

Samsung expands its Call of Duty partnership

Separately, Samsung announced an exclusive partnership with Activision as the official TV, monitor, soundbar and Wi-Fi-speaker partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Samsung plans to preview the game on premium Odyssey monitors at Gamescom 2026. 2

The game is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. Samsung says it will support HDR10+ GAMING and the Odyssey G9’s 32:9 super-ultrawide format. 2

Esports, creator events and new storage products
