Since then, the fund has grown into the largest sovereign wealth fund on earth, owning approximately 1.5% of all listed companies globally

Tangen’s overarching message was that the fund’s extraordinary growth should not be taken for granted, and that “tougher times ahead” are likely for equity investors .
