Where cbETH Remains Available

cbETH deposits and withdrawals will continue to be fully supported on :

• Ethereum mainnet
• Base (Coinbase's own Layer 2 network)

On-platform trading of cbETH within Coinbase itself is unaffected by this change .

Other Tokens and Products Being Consolidated Simultaneously

Coinbase is trimming network support across multiple tokens on the same August 17 deadline as part of a broader consolidation effort :

• DAI — deposits and withdrawals ending on Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Optimism. DAI remains supported on Ethereum mainnet .
• USDC — deposits and withdrawals ending on the Noble network (Cosmos ecosystem). USDC remains supported on all other networks, including Ethereum, Base, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon .

What Users Should Do Before the Deadline

1. Move cbETH off affected networks — Before August 17, bridge any cbETH held on Arbitrum, Optimism, or Polygon to either Ethereum mainnet or Base, where Coinbase deposit/withdrawal support continues .
2. Move DAI off Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Optimism — Bridge DAI to Ethereum mainnet if you need to deposit or withdraw through Coinbase .
3. Move USDC off Noble — Bridge USDC from the Noble network to another supported network before the cutoff .
4. Do not send to Coinbase after the deadline — Coinbase warns that any cbETH, DAI, or USDC sent to your Coinbase deposit address on the affected networks after August 17 will be irretrievable .
5. No action needed if you only hold these tokens inside your Coinbase account (the change only affects deposits/withdrawals via those specific networks), or if you use cbETH on Ethereum/Base .
