TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 Adds a Real World AI Stage — Robots, Defense, Edge Computing, and De-Extinction

TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, running October 13–15 at Moscone West in San Francisco, has expanded to six editorially curated stages . Among them is a brand-new addition: the Real World AI Stage, dedicated to the intersection of digital and physical AI — autonomous hardware, robotics, edge computing, defense systems, and biological engineering .

While the existing AI Stage covers SaaS-layer topics like pricing models and security gaps, the Real World AI Stage focuses on what happens when AI leaves the screen and enters steel, soil, and flesh . Four sessions have been announced so far, with more expected .
