Jason Momoa's Blue Carpet Family Moment

Jason Momoa turned the blue carpet into a rare family affair, bringing his two children from his marriage to Lisa Bonet — daughter Lola (18) and son Nakoa-Wolf (17) . It was one of the actor's few public appearances with his children at a major event.

He described his role in the film as "surreal" and expressed deep affection for the Lobo character, calling it a dream role he had pursued for years .

Jason Momoa's Role: Lobo (and Why It's a Small One)

Momoa plays Lobo, the interstellar bounty hunter from DC Comics known as "The Main Man" — a violent, hard-living antihero. In Supergirl, Lobo teams up with a hesitant Kara Zor-El to track the villain Krem of the Yellow Hills across the galaxy .

But fans expecting a Lobo-heavy film should temper expectations. Momoa has been consistent: his role is deliberately small. He called it a "little sprinkling" and emphasized that "it's her movie," referring to Milly Alcock's Supergirl .

Momoa's Non-Negotiable Demand: A Solo Lobo Movie Must Be R-Rated

Perhaps the biggest headline from the press tour: Jason Momoa has one condition for any standalone Lobo project. He repeated his stance forcefully: he will only do a solo Lobo movie if it is rated R ("hard R") .

He told Collider: "It's all I want, and I promise—I'm just going to put this out there right now—I do not have any interest in making a Lobo PG-13 movie" . He has discussed the idea with DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran, and publicly urged fans to lobby DC for an R-rated Lobo film .
