GCAP After FCAS: Status, Contracts, and Germany's Unresolved Role in Europe's Sixth-Gen Fighter

The landscape of European sixth-generation fighter development transformed dramatically in mid-2026. Leonardo’s Mixed Signals on Germany

Leonardo CEO Lorenzo Mariani has given two subtly different public signals on German participation in GCAP:
