Google added 12 soccer-themed image templates to its Nano Banana image generation model, timed to the 2026 FIFA World Cup . Users can upload a photo of themselves and the AI generates a realistic image of them wearing their country's official jersey, celebrating in a stadium, or scoring a goal .

The templates are available in the new Images tab in Gemini's navigation menu or by tapping "+" then "Create image" in the prompt bar . Google describes the feature as letting fans "put themselves directly into the action" .

The "Thinking Levels" feature reached 100% rollout in this Gemini Drop . Google's VP of Gemini, Josh Woodward, confirmed the completion on June 2, 2026 via X: "Papercut fixed: Thinking Levels are now available on Gemini across Web, iOS, and Android" .

Users can choose between three reasoning modes :

• Deep Thinking: A deeper reasoning tier reserved for AI Ultra subscribers, available on Gemini 3.1 Pro .
