The demo is set in the Kiyomizu-dera Temple stage and culminates in a boss fight against Sasaki Ganryu. While progress from the demo will not transfer to the full game, Capcom confirmed that players who have demo save data will receive a special bonus item, the Charm: Kubi Akari, in the full release .
Pre-orders went live alongside the State of Play broadcast. Based on coverage of the event, players who pre-order will receive the Sealed Curse sword weapon and the Lion Dog charm accessory .
