Zeliq’s September 2026 seed extension is a bet on making AI agents part of a sales team’s daily workflow, not simply adding a chatbot to another prospecting tool. The €7 million round brings its reported total funding to €21 million and coincides with the beta release of Zelia, its AI sales agent.

What the funding is meant to build
Zeliq plans to invest in its AI-native platform and agent suite, expand its product and technology teams, and grow across Europe. Those are development plans, not evidence that a complete suite of agents is available today.

Most available reports name The Moon Venture as the round’s lead, with Julien Jean of JJCapinvest, Sylvestre Blavet of Freelance.com, and returning investors Ora Global and Cleo Ventures among the participants. One report instead names CMI as lead, so the lead-investor attribution is not unanimous.

How the workspace tackles a fragmented sales stack
Zeliq already brings prospect search, contact enrichment and multichannel outreach into one interface. It advertises access to more than 450 million contacts and a connection to customers’ CRMs. For a sales team, the proposed advantage is fewer handoffs between finding a prospect, checking contact details and starting outreach—not necessarily replacing the CRM. The contact figure describes the size of Zeliq’s advertised database; it does not establish that every record can be enriched in real time.

Zelia is intended to add an execution layer to that workspace. Zeliq says the agent can find prospects matching a team’s ideal customer profile and intent signals, validate contact data, prepare for meetings, prioritize tasks and help optimize outreach sequences. Reporting also describes instruction-led prospecting and contact work. These are descriptions of the product and its beta, rather than independently verified improvements in conversion or revenue.

Human direction remains central to the pitch. The reported model keeps sales teams in charge of strategy while agents handle research, enrichment and other delegated operational tasks. That distinction matters: automating steps in a workflow is not the same as handing an agent responsibility for deciding whom to sell to or what a team should prioritize.

What is—and is not—connected yet
Zapier offers an MCP connection that lets compatible AI tools use selected Zeliq actions. That supports a route between Zeliq and external AI tools, but it should not be mistaken for proof of a separate, native Zelia MCP connector.
27 Likewise, the available evidence does not establish that Zelia learns from a team’s data over time or that the funding will deliver specific new CRM partnerships. The clearest near-term milestone is the Zelia beta; whether the broader agentic workspace improves sales outcomes remains to be demonstrated.
