Singapore-based Genie Health has raised US$3 million (about S$3.8 million) in seed funding to expand its consumer health app, Genie, and its clinic platform, Genie SmartCare. The round was led by the Nadathur Family Office, with participation from Liminal, a Temasek-backed Founders’ Studio, and two healthcare executives.

How Genie Health plans to use the funding
The company plans to strengthen its AI capabilities, speed up adoption of Genie SmartCare among healthcare providers, and hire across product, engineering and healthcare. Those priorities support both sides of its platform: helping individuals make sense of personal health information and helping clinics manage patient engagement and care workflows.

Genie brings personal health information together
Genie is the company’s consumer app. Its secure “Health Locker” is designed to gather health reports, wearable data and records from healthcare providers in one place. The app then aims to turn that scattered information into personalised insights and guidance on possible next steps.

Genie SmartCare is built for clinics
Genie SmartCare is the clinic-focused product. It uses agentic AI to support patient engagement around the clock, including appointment and follow-up bookings. The platform also combines longitudinal patient records with wearable data to give care teams a broader view of a patient’s health.

A two-sided health intelligence strategy
The funding backs Genie Health’s effort to develop products for both individuals and providers, rather than focusing only on a consumer app or clinic software. Co-founder and CEO Hari V. Krishnan has said the capital will help the company scale both products faster, with the aim of making health information more useful for individuals and supporting more personalised care from providers.
