For the first time in its history, the Esports World Cup will be held outside of Saudi Arabia. The Esports World Cup Foundation announced on May 20, 2026, that the event will be hosted in Paris, France .

“Riyadh helped turn the Esports World Cup into a global phenomenon,” said Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports Foundation. “Riyadh is the home of EWC… This year, we’re excited to bring EWC to Paris for its first edition outside Saudi Arabia.”

The tournament is scheduled to run for seven weeks, from July 6 to August 23, 2026 . The event will feature 25 tournaments across 24 game titles with a record $75 million prize pool, the largest in esports history .
