• Use Search when you need current information with citations you can inspect.
• Use Research for broader investigations that compare and synthesize multiple sources.
• Use Documents when the result needs structured editing and a durable final version.
• Use Workflows when the same multi-step process should run consistently more than once.
• Use Infobase when AI should repeatedly work from the same focused collection of source files.

Complete your first task

1. Describe the outcome

   State what you need, who it is for, and the format, tone, length, or deadline that matters.

2. Choose a model and mode

   Use the model picker and mode controls to match the task to speed, reasoning, coding, images, Search, or Research.

3. Add useful context

   Attach a file, select an Infobase, or add a saved prompt, Skill, or Brand Voice when the task needs your material or rules.

4. Send, review, and refine

   Check the result, verify important claims, and use follow-up requests to correct or improve it without starting over.

5. Save the useful result

   Move longer writing into Documents, turn repeatable work into a Workflow, or publish an eligible answer when it is ready to share.

Build a repeatable setup

• Save prompts when the request structure stays the same but inputs change.
• Create Skills for durable instructions about how AI should approach a task.
• Create a Brand Voice for consistent tone, vocabulary, and writing style.
• Keep reusable reference material in focused Infobases instead of attaching it repeatedly.
• Create a Workflow after a successful process has clear inputs, steps, and outputs.

Start simple. Add reusable context only after you know which instructions and source material consistently improve the result.
